According to PurePeople Cécile has been cast for the lead role in a new romantic and musical comedy called “Almost Romantic”.

It’s a love story between a french girl and an english man that meet again after 20 years apart and the action will take place over the course of 24 hours in Paris. The songs will be both in english and french and filming will begin at the end of 2011.

Also cast in the production is Aurélie Maggiori from the french group Brigitte (and good friend of Cécile) and Gilles Lellouche who will play the part of an unconventional guardian angel. Sounds very promising!

That’s right, Cécile is in Cannes and she attended the Audi Talent Awards as part of the 64th Cannes Film Festival. Check out the pictures!

In a recent interview for Studio Magazine Vincent (Cécile’s brother) dedicated a few nice words to his little sister

“I think she is finally finding herself. [...] It takes time to find and accept oneself, and suddenly, everything comes about. This is what Cécile is going through right now, and it gives me great pleasure.”
